Is there any curfew?
At Youth Hostel Firenze 2000 there is no curfew! As
soon as you arrive here, you’ll receive an electronic
key, that opens the external gate, and the key of your
room. Since that moment you’ll be completely independent
and you’ll be able to come back in every moment of the
day and of the night!

Are the rooms provided with private
bathroom?
Yes they are. Youth Hostel Firenze 2000 offers only
rooms with private bathroom (shower, basin, wc). We don’t
have rooms without bathroom.

Can I park inside Youth Hostel Firenze 2000?
Youth Hostel Firenze 2000 is provided with a small
parking area in which is possible to park maximum three
medium-big cars. It isn’t possible to book a parking lot
and you have to pay the price showed in the section
related to tariffs. We remind you that the car parked
inside Youth Hostel Firenze 2000 is not allowed neither
to exit neither to enter between 20:00 and 7:00 that is
during the Reception closing time.

Do you accept people younger than 18?
No we don’t. We accept people younger than 18 only
if parents or teachers stay as well at Youth Hostel
Firenze 2000.

Do you have dorms?
No we don’t. At Youth Hostel Firenze 2000 we offer
private rooms with private bathroom. We only put
together people that previously knew each other up to a
maximum of 6 people sharing the same room.

If I am travelling alone what can you offer
me?
If this solution suits you, we can offer you a
private single room with bathroom. Ask the price filling
in the online form. The rate of the single rooms varies
according to the period you ask for and the number of
nights required.

What about sheets, blankets and towels?
Rooms are provided with sheets, blankets and towels.
Sheets and towels are substituted by our staff and the
room cleaning takes place every morning from 9:00 to
12:00.

Are you far from the historical center of
Florence?
We already are in the historical centre of Florence,
in the area of San Frediano, the most ancient quarter of
Florence! The river (Arno) divides the historical center
of Florence in two sides: on a side there are Palazzo
Pitti and the Cappella Brancacci , on the other side
there are the Dome and Piazza San Marco. We are on the
side of the historic center of Florence where Palazzo
Pitti is located, close to the historical quarter of
Santo Spirito. Every spot of the historic center of
Florence is reachable on foot or, for the laziest ones,
by bus! Within 200 meters from Youth Hostel Firenze 2000
there are the bus stops of bus number 6, that brings you
to Piazza Duomo and to San Marco, of bus numbers 13, 26
e 27, that brings you to the railway station of Santa
Maria Novella and of 12, that brings you to Piazzale
Michelangelo.

How can I book?
We only accept written bookings. By e-mail writing
at yhf2000@dada.it, by fax sending your request at (+39)
055 2306392, otherwise filling in the online
booking-form(link).

How can I guarantee the booking?
As soon as we receive your request, we send you a
contract to fill in to guarantee your booking. We ask
you to guarantee the first night of your stay at Youth
Hostel Firenze 2000 by credit card.

Which is the shortest way on foot from the
train station of Santa Maria Novella to Youth Hostel
Firenze 2000?
Being inside the train station and having the trains
behind your shoulder, choose the exit at your right,
down the stairs and cross the street. Turn left and go
ahead up to you enter in Via S.ta Caterina da Siena. As
soon as you arrive at the traffic light turn right in
Via della Scala, and immediately at left entering Via
dell’Albero. Go straight in Via M Finiguerra, Via
Melegnano and cross the bridge Vespucci. Keep going
straigth in Via Sant’Onofrio, then turn right in Borgo
San Frediano. Pass under the very big and ancient door
and go ahead along Via Pisana up to you enter Piazza
Pier Vettori. Here turn left and you’ll find Via R.
Sanzio. We are on the opposite footstep. You’ll see our
white sign at number 16. It seems to be hard but you
need only 10 minutes!

Which bus can I catch to get to Youth
Hostel Firenze 2000 from the train station (SMN)?
Being inside the train station and having the trains
behind your shoulder, choose the exit at your left,
cross the street and catch bus number 12 (the bus stop
is in front of you). Ask the driver to show you the
first bus stop after Piazza Pier Vettori. The bus way
lasts approximately 15 minutes and the bus stop you have
to choose is called Sanzio 1. As soon as you get off the
bus here we are, at number 16!

What do I have to bring with me?
The only thing you won’t find in the room is the
soap! Be careful no to forget soap and shampoo! We
remind you that at your arrival we ask for an ID (identity
card, driving licence, passport) for the room
consignment ! We suggest you to bring with you at least
two identity documents. It will be very helpful to have
an extra one if you need to visit museums or renting
bicycles and mopeds!

At what time can I get the room on the
arrival day and at what time do I have to leave the room
on the day of departure?
Rooms are ready from 15.00 of the day of your
arrival and have to be left within 9:30 of the day of
your departure. If you want to leave your luggage here
in the morning you can but we won’t give you the room
before 15:00. Why? We need the time to clean it!!

Are there pubs, discos and restaurants
close to Youth Hostel Firenze 2000?
Youth Hostel Firenze 2000 is located in an area full
of restaurants (for all tastes and for all budgets),
pubs and discos (3 within five minutes walking). You are
only spoiled for choice!
